What Happened Last Time…

Here’s a little reminder of what happened last time England visited Zagreb. Gary Neville and Paul Robinson, look away now…

This time around there’s no Eduardo for Croatia and there’s no Neville and (very likely) no Robinson for England. There’s also no Steve McClaren/Terry Venables trying out an impromptu 3-5-2.

I’m going to be brave and predict the following:

• a 4-5-1 formation
• an unexciting but effective performance
• a 1-1 draw
• and last but not least… an open top bus parade through the streets of London, with the England players holding up a giant point like it was the FA Cup
