England looked poor against a joke side, lets be honest here. Will not be at all surprised to see England home again in 2010. If Capello wants to make it, please sit this clown Downing and sit Defoe and start Ashley Young on the left, Walcott on the right, Joe Cole and either Rooney, Owen, or Agbonlahor up front. Lampard is overrated, sit his ass for Gerrard when Stevie G. is healthy and maybe they can win the group.

Quite the scare for Italy, 1-1 at half but they pulled through. Most shocking result so far has to be France getting thumped by Austria…..ha-ha…sorry France….couldn’t have happened to a better country if you ask me.

Unfortunately Italy-Cyprus seems to be unavailable on the net just like Switzerland-Israel .

1-1 temporary score, Italy is in trouble. Buffon has already prevented Cyprus from scoring 3 goals. Also two injuries (Grosso, Gamberini) in the first 10 minutes. Live commentary on gazzetta.it.
