Contain your excitement, England are playing tonight. Their opponents are Hungary, and if we on this blog ever bothered with research we might be able to tell you something about them. Luckily, we’ll be able to steal some information from The Great British Media…oh, no, they’ve just gone with nostalgic references to England 3, Hungary 6, which was played in…well we can’t even be bothered to look that up.
Nevertheless, tonight will be a good game to watch, if only to see Jack Wilshere’s England debut – joining the likes of Duncan Edwards, Stanley Matthews, Alan Ball, Michael Owen, Wayne Rooney and, who could forget, Theo Walcott.
Join us (or possibly just me) here at around 7:00pm.
