Daryl… thank you for responding to my suggestion regarding Spanish Autonomous Countries — I feel that it would be a great Blog to read about, I really don’t know the inner-workings of this Blog, but IMO, you guys who do such an outstanding job as it is with all these International Blogs should really look into that.

But apparently anytime someone expresses an opinion here, he is referred to as an idiot… whatever happened to free thought? Anything that doesn’t go “along” with the status quo gets reduced to being stupid?

It’s not my decision, as I handle just the blogs and the content. But I think it’s safe to say that advertising on FSC and Setanta would be a bit too pricey.

If you feel like dipping into your pocket to buy some advertising time for us though, we’ll definitely take it!

daryl, did you ever think of advertising The Offside and The WCB on FSC, Setanta etc? It would be costly but a couple more advertisements on these sites would get some more income and idk how you feel about “Raising the Rent” for current Ad-Takers

Fernando, you’re an idiot. What would be the point of having a World Cup Blog if you did not cover one of the most widely followed national teams in the world? Not to mention that with the right writer, even subject matter done to death elsewhere can be original and have its own personality here, just as Daryl & Rob have done so well to this point.

This blog already exists, so it’s a case of improving an existing blog rather than adding another.

Re: autonomous countries… If a capable writer applied to write about autonomous countries, we’d very likely give them a blog.

But with the wealth of England NT blogs out there, including FourTwoTwo & the Guardian’s Sports Blog… do we really need another Blog dedicated to England’s NT?

I would be more interested in reading a Blog dedicated to the Autonomous countries in Spain and their national teams. There is absolutely nothing out there dedicated to these countries… What about a Blog dedicated to Peru & Bolivia?
