Walcott Injured: Another One Bites the Dust

The list of injuries continues to grow. But this one sounds like something much worse than the “internationalitis” that has afflicted the likes of Lampard and Gerrard.
Poor Theo Walcott dislocated his shoulder in training yesterday and will be out for about two and a half months. If it is a case of internationalitis, it’s the most convincing we’ve ever seen.
Bad news for England then. And bad news for Arsenal too. But good news for wingers like Shaun Wright-Phillips, Ashley Young and Stewart Downing, whose chances of seeing some action tonight just increased dramatically.
And at least this gives Theo more time to ponder those new pink boots.
