Hey, Mr Darcy Stolte - I'm in your beloved Germany - not hiding away in Canada somewhere. I'll be watching tonight's game surrounded by all my mates - everyone of them a German. I'll be the only Brit present. And the message from all of us here, mate, is that for 90 minutes we'll be enjoying our very special rivalry. After that, whatever the result and whatever happens on the field, we'll carry on drinking together as mates - just like before. We respect each other and we'd never allow ourselves to mouth off the way you did. And by the way - just a reminder for when you return to the Heimat - nobody in Germany says "Deutschland ueber alles" anymore. Grow up.

HAHAHA.. England Loser fans, keep hashing up your memories of a win against Germany 5-1 for a tournament that we went on to appear in the finals (2002 in Japan/Korea)while you checked out early YET again. May i remind the England faithful, that Germany closed down the old wembley with a win 1-0 and then reopened the new wembley stadium with a win... Also just to put the english hooligans in their place, Germany has won 3 world cups and been in the finals 7 times. While england has only been to one final, in which they won on a non goal. England has NEVER even been to a Euro cup final, needless to say the have never won a Euro Cup, and Germany has won the Euro Cup 3 times and been runner up 4 times. So to put things in a big picture for the Sad English blowhards.. If dinner was being served, Germany would sit at the head table with the likes of Italy, France, Spain (teams that have actually won more than one tourny) while England would sit at the kiddy table with the also rans. england should quit bragging about a 5-1 victory in what amounted to be a nothing game, and should focus on QUALIFYING FOR TOURNAMENTS, seeing as we missed you at the last one... Deutschland UBER ALLES

'Richtig?'
Ja! ;) The Germans being in third at the moment, as according to FIFA. Regarding The Sun, I remembered once reading they called Germany...the Jerries. Or something like that.

'For old times sake, here’s a little reminder of what happened last time we played Germany in Germany'
Frankly to admit Daryl (given I only start to support England the year after that match was played), whatever I remembered of that 5-1 scoreline...I only remembered it made headlines in the papers here in my country. And whenever I say '5-1!' to my father (the other England supporter in my family), he will start smiling. Ah yes, beating the Germans...

Anyhow, it has been confirmed Jens Lehmann will not feature in the friendly in Berlin. He had already confirmed his retirement from the German national team after Euro 2008 and later on saying in interviews that he hope to face England (after all those years with Arsenal) as a way to end his career with the German national team officially. Jogi Loew ruled that out yesterday - http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20081103/sp_soccer_afp/fblgerenglehmann_081103190221;_ylt=AlCXtQvDXGA26Oo_9TgVfz7HOrgF
