YES james needs to play for a club that has a good record and good defenders,while he`s at portsmouth with not so good defenders he will conceed goals and hurt his chances of being picked by fabio cappelo

Its a massive season for James, for sure this will be his last stab at a summer tournament. Agree that by staying busy he will stay in the spotlight that’s also why I was impressed with Joe Hart’s loan move. I wonder if Kirkland will come into contention, last season Wigan had a very solid defence. I bet if Burnley’s lad was English he’d be on the plane to the Ukraine

Agree Gaz, but my concern is that he gets p*ssed off with playing on a poor team and struggles for form. I’m sort of fascinated to see what happens.

Err, I suggest he stays at Pompey and plays exceptionally well so he gets picked on form.
