Yo Ho Ho! Why England Should Be Very Afraid

The Trinidad and Tobago footballing authorities know a thing or two about inspiring their squad to glory.

If these guys win, the party may never end….

  • Roland

Avast, mateys! Dutch courage for the scurvy lot of you!

  • alan

premier league v various lower divisions.if england do not win convincingly they may as well come home now. no disrespect to t and t.there is a certain england forward in todays paper launching his new line of clothing? you are in germany to play football not sell clothes.

  • Saleem

No fear Trinidad, we will win tonight …come on England…

  • Nisse

haha, don’t be so confident we didn’t get a tie against them for no reason.

  • Nisse

you might not win, but hope you do :P cheers

  • Binarybloke

My head says 2-2 draw but my heart says 3-1 England.

    Come boys, turn it on!

  • Joseph

    i think Eng 1 – Tri 0 this will b the score for tonight…
Why?… cause i am the God of gamble…. hahahahahahahaaaa:)

  • dilinjah

    easy!!!

  • Nathan Fisher

    Shhhh.

  • BrendanLee

Roland, pls. help the few people out there(inc. me)about the importance of this match…
Sweden to me is still very unknown, are they really that bad..?Futhermore England wants to top their group to avoid the host for sure,right..?

  • BrendanLee

England winning by 2 goals…can the lads do it..?

  • Stu

I’m gonna go for 2-0 england

  • Roland

BrendanLee, this match is crucial for England.

The Lions do not have an inspriring record against Sweden in international play, especially at the World Cup, which is why they should make the most of this opportunity.

That said, on paper the English team is the class of their group, but they’re going to have to prove it today. T&T have plenty of experience in the Premiere League, and this is the game they’ve been targetting.

I would say Eriksson’s side has their work cut out for them. I predict they will rise to the challenge and win 2 – 0.

No, this is not England being forced out of its rhythm. Same old story: teams aren’t “forced out of their rhythms,” teams entrap themselves in uninspired play, they give up heart and joy–what makes for jazzy football–and take on pretentious demeanors that make for Hamburg-gray football. That’s what England is doing now.
