Why do England managers always end up as clowns, booed off the stage by hostile reviewers and bundled out of the big top by ungrateful ringmasters anxious to placate the audience with a new high wire act?

Paul Wilson suggests finding the anti-Sven, and then closes with a crazy suggestion for England’s next World Cup manager.
