The Return of Beckham’s Boogey Man?

Remember when David Beckham got sent off in Brazil in the World Club Championships against some Mexican side?

Saturday’s ref might: same guy.

Beckham’s only bogeyman is himself. Mr. Golden-balls is over-rated and should actually start playing with some heart, instead of himself!

Agreed 200%!!! very overrated indeed..but is not his fault..he is a medium class player, who is married with a spice girl and puts more effort in is “posh” partys than in the field…although he is very good in free kicks..he only quality as player ;)

It has started. First: make sure the world “knows” that portuguese players are tricksters.
Then, make sure the world knows that the ref is already biased.
That way, if ENG wins, they look like troopers, battling incredible odds.
But if they lose, blame the ref & the “tricks”.
And they say the Portuguese are masters at this…..

Picanha, anybody with the minimum of inteligence can see through it… :-) POR should win. If we loose, I’m also not gonna cry about it.

About Beckham, I guess the english press themselves, plus fans, do the job better than any enemy… :-) The guy was never that good, but he’s surelly not that bad. His crosses are still filled with danger and intention, we all know his free kicks, etc… And it’s not just him, Rooney is a real danger - especially without Costinha - Lampard & Cia are also not to be neglected.

If we can beat them? Sure. If we are currently better? Sure. If our faith and believe is 10 times bigger than theirs at the mo, no doubt. But Spain was also stronger and at the end France took the win. So… 50:50 chances. A lot of swet, commitment, concentration, etc, and we’ll take it.

FORCA PORTUGAL! :-)

Good one Big Banana…that was funny. I am really tired of the media just talking about about Beckham and in the middle of the game, the media focus on his wife. Who cares! I am there to watch the game. Lets have even coverage. They hardly talk about other teams.

gonna laff at all of you when that beautiful beckham free kick goes sailing in on sat! pick him to score twice..forget the bollocks, ask madrid who was their best player last season..then there’s rooney who’s REALLY hungry at the moment. Forget to put your heads on this morning or what?

media attention’s nothing to do with his skill in crossing and the dead ball, issa. To be honest the guys got balls just waking up next to Victoria of a morning..scary or what! No, he can take a game by the scruff of the neck single handedly, we’re just waiting for him to do it! he does this week in week out for madrid..maybe you dont see those games in canada? And its difficult when opposing teams play 10-0-0 formation, park a bus across the goal as mourinho says. Saturday should be good..england to go through 3-1!

Got to give him credit for that beautifull goal against Ecuador. Against Portugal it could go both ways.

typical argentino, hopes to rely on a dodgy referee! and Wayne Rooney’s better now than Maradona. By the way, won’t it be fantastic when germany throw arg out tomorrow and hopefully we won’t see that payaso maradona and his cigar, grinning and posturing in the stadium? Roll on the day!
