At The Guardian, much fawning over the whole Walcott annointment:

1) Richard Williams makes the case for an instinctual move trumping the usual dull (read: English) logic. (Don’t expect McClaren to choose some now-14-year-old in two years’ time for Euro ‘08)

2) David Pleat is just happy about the whole pace thing.
