The Foot: The Aftermath

The good news is Wayne Rooney is healing.

The bad news is he’s not healing any time soon.

It’s not going to be until mid-June — well into the group stages — that he can kick a ball and train full-out with his injured metatarsal. So he’s certainly out for those first three matches, and then we shall see.
