Super Frank and Super Steve: ‘We Need To Do Better’

why is everybody so hell bent on playing Steve and Frank together. I say dump Frank Lampard and bring on Carrick or even Hargreaves.

Lampard is a good player. NO question about that…but its spoiling Gerrard’s game!

I think Gerrard and Lampard offensively are probably as good as each other. Gerrard, defensively, is better than Carrick and Hargreaves… ergo he plays the role he plays.

I don’t think England’s problem has been in the centre of the park at all… I think it has been entirely tactical, brought about because of the injury to rooney.

When Rooney is fit England flit between 4-5-1 and 4-4-2 with ease… without him it all seems disjointed… until the last 20 minutes when fatigue starts to tell, then, and olny then, do England look better with Crouch on the pitch.

The Gerrard/Lampard combo should have been sorted out months back but wasn’t. I believe Steve’s the better all rounder and Frank should be dropped from the starting line up.

yup! definitely drop lampard..
he just doesn’t have the accuracy that gerrard does..
u could see that clearly in their last match.
despite being a red,i have to say crouch should be replace by rooney.i don’t like the way he played lol=D

frank lampard has made a few mistakes but which footballer hasn’t with gerrard on top form i and many others believe we can go all the way. and why is everyone complaining about wayne rooneys problems but it doesnt take one man to complete a football team we have some of the best players in the world so come on england!!!!!!!!!!!!1
