It would be pretty amazing if England went out in the group stages AND Luca Toni scored 5 goals on them. Seriously amazing. Actually, it would be just as amazing if Italy scored 5 goals in the group stages. Seriously though, as a Liverpool fan, I've learned that a match is never over as long as Stevie G is on the field. That said, I wonder how well a central midfield combination of Lampard and Gerrard is going to work. Neither is a particularly good defensive midfielder, but they'll have to take turns marking the other team's playmaker. I almost prefer Beckham as the holding mid, since he's played the role for Real, and Gerrard has been effective on the right side of the midfield for Liverpool. marco – I’m with you there. Seriously though, as a Liverpool fan, I’ve learned that a match is never over as long as Stevie G is on the field.
