Anders Svensson, who once dazzled us all at Southhampton, is the first to bare his claws for today’s tilt in Cologne:

On Frank Lampard: “He is not really like a rocket, is he?…If you pressurise him and disturb his play like Paraguay did then he struggles.”

Then he reckons that England will lie down: “The English game depends on their aggression and the attitude in their hearts. But they are already through so their way of playing will disappear.”
