I definately think that Defoe and Lennon should be brought into the line up. Please no Sol Campbell though he was awful!

If we use 4-5-1

Use Hargreaves as defensive midfielder. Then Lampard and Gerrard can play together.

Or Use Lampard and Hargreaves as central midfielder, Gerrard plays behind Rooney.

To be honest, I don’t care who’s on the pitch anymore as long as they put in a performance to be proud of. We’ve got through a sticky patch and came through top of our group, it’s time for the players to start believing in themselves again and play without fear of failure.

Let JoCo, Wazza, and Stevie G show us the way to the final!

Sven needs to drop either lampard/becks for the sake of the team

Either have gerrard playing attacking from the centre, or drifting in from the right like he does for liverpool. Seeing as hes not gna drop becks – who i think is quality when hes on top of his game, but the last couple of matches he bn below par – then lampard MUST GO.

Now som may argue “lampard scored over 20 goals for chelsea this season, hes got a great goals:game ration for england” blah blah blah….GET THIS – its the World cup. Previous performances mean ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!! its about the players on form, and u cant just play a player because hes been good in the past and deserves a chance. THIS IS THE BLOODY WORLD CUP 4 GODS SAKE! it only comes around every 4 years…by which time the likes of gerrard will be 30, and we will all be bemoaning how he was never utlised properly at the peak of his career.

Sven needs to be more ruthless, as it looks like hes gna waste our best chance of winning the WC for 40years.

bring in Defoe??? errrrm … hes not in the squad mate….

Owens’ injury is a blessing in disguise (though I feel for him, he has been a liability)

This will be the team:
>>>>>>>>>>>>ROBINSON
NEVILLE>>>RIO>>>TERRY>>>>A COLE
>>>>>>>>>>>HARGREAVES
BECKHAM>>GERRARD>>LAMPARD>>J COLE
>>>>>>>>>>>>ROONEY

We are going to win in style on Sunday…BELIEVE

We have missed Neville badly.
We have been weak on the right without him.
He makes Beckham look beter than he actually is when he overlaps and provides decent crosses that we have been lacking on the right side.

With him back in on Sunday, we will be more balanced and perhaps Beckham will actually have a decent game with Neville playing Robin to Beckhams Batman…..

Gary Neville is a never say die passionate player that makes Beckham look better than he actually is.

We will be more balanced and create chances from the right instead of relying on J Cole.

I expect Neville in the role of ‘Robin’ overlapping with ‘Batman’ Beckham and driving us to a comfortable win on Sunday.

Then the confidenece will be high and we will be in a better frame of mind to play Holland/Portugal.

BELIEVE

tyke, I can’t see Neville and Ferdinand both playing on sunday. It’s too much of a gamble when they’re both carrying injuries, especially when Rooney may not last 90min. I think Sven will go for Caragher in place of Rio, if Gary’s fit enough.

I BELIEVE

kinda odd this…

robbo, nevilinho, rio’o, tezinho, colio, hargreaves, beckinho, lampardo, colinho, gerrardo, roonio’o'o…

3 number eights and no forward hahhahaha!

get three eights on certain fruit machines and u get the jackpot tho >=]

i thought hargreaves looked bloody good for the first time v Sweden. If it is to be the 4-5-1/4-4-2/4-3-3 combo then it’s good to know the back of the diamond has 2 classy players (carrick and hargreaves) fighting for the spot.

Winarto, wtf..Hargreaves ??? Carrick is 100 times better then him and can hold the role in midfield. Hargreaves is a waste of space on the England coach.
