Sol’sSchnozzGate: It’s All Better

In American sports movies, you can always count on the cliche of the fellow with the broken nose being asked to bite on a towel and then having the horrendously painful injury repaired by a sadistic old trainer. (The most recent such scene I can recall was in “Million Dollar Baby,” but I hear there’s something similar done to a sillicone-enhanced breast in “Basic Instinct 2.”)

Anway, somebody’s done the trick for Sol Campbell, and now everybody’s favorite nutcase center back is free to take the pitch against Spurs this weekend and hurt some other part of his body.
