On the one hand, he was in the match. Sol Campbell played against Portsmouth today in Arsenal’s frustrating 1-1 draw with Pompey. That’s a bit of good news. But he managed to open a cut above an eye which required stitches and then, near the end of regulation time, to break his nose, for fuck’s sake! The full, gory details here.
