Shrek Gets Libelled, Paid

I don’t know what’s the most disturbing thing about this story:

1) the original charge (since withdrawn) that Wayne Rooney slapped his fiance?

2) the fact that the 100,000 pound damages mean so little to him that he can give them away (admirably) to charity?

3) that beastly photo?

Ah, what the hell: # 3 it is. This is perhaps the ugliest photo I’ve ever seen of this notably unattractive young man. I predict it will disturb my naps for weeks.
