FIFA rules state that a manager may wait until 24 hours before a match to make a decision about a key player if that player can demonstrate medical need to be off the initial roster list. (Details here.) Which means that we have six more weeks of waiting to see if Wayne can heal and if Sven will pull the trigger and tap him.
