‘Rooney Not Ready’: FA

June 14th, 2006 | By: Shawn | 10 Comments »

The FA have taken the Man U side and suggested to Sven that he should leave Wayne Rooney on the bench Thursday.

Which brings up the unthinkable: Will we see Theo Walcott get some minutes? And will Jermain Defoe throw a brick through his flat screen if we do?

Walcott should only get a run out for last 20 if we have the game wrapped up.

Walcott should come on at least for the last 10 as ,baring injurys to Owen, is his best chance of a game.Lets see what the young chap can do. Gotta be better than Ronaldo last night ,he was pure pants

That wasn’t Ronaldo, it was some fat lookalike.

I agree Walcott should at least be given a chance or there’s no point him being there. I’ve got a feeling Sven will favour the JoCo option again though once Crouch/Owen have shot their respective bolts. Christ, I’m getting real nervous about the game now.

Binary:

Bless you for using the Brazilian name JoCo. I’m going to make T-shirts, I think!

Hey guys…I am croatian but live in Austria and what you guys think about the game yesterday? I really think that croatia have deserved at least one point if not three. Man, just the look at Ronaldo…he needs to take a diet..Well, why im writing here is that my favourite team after Croatia is England and I really hope that England will win the WC cup (not sure about Croatia , maybe with luck)…Tomorrow England will DEFEAT trinidad tobago so lets see it :)

Ivica, I totally agree Croatia were unlucky and hope they can somehow make it through. If England play with the same determination T&T will go down.

Rooney ready will be an added advantage to England but nevertheless T & T is not a team to be despised.England has better chances of winning than them but its football you know-
Anything can happen-May the bast team win but good luck to Beck and his boys-

Ericsson is SCARED as always, so look for this loser to try to insert Rooney ASAP without regard to anything else. The coach alone is the best reason this team can never win a Cup!

Rooney!Rooney!Rooney!…im sick and tired of all the undue adulations being heaped on this man. what did he do for england to deserve all these accolade? its not fair to the other deserving players who had proven themselves worthy not just in club but also in international football eg Gerrard, european champion; lampard, 2x premiership title holder..

are we pinning our hopes again on somebody build up by all the british media hype. is this an act os desperation? david beckham II????
