Rooney Hurt

Wayne Rooney was carried off the pitch at Stamford Bridge today but, according to reports, his injury shouldn’t be bad enough to hurt his World Cup performances.

There are two people who England cannot afford to lose at this point: Rooney and John Terry. This was a close call, and with the Premiereship all wrapped up I think Alex Ferguson and Jose Mourinho should give those guys the next two weeks off.

I am an Argentina fan though I watch the premiership. I was upset to see Rooney hurt and hope he makes a quick recovery. It will be a treat to watch him in the world cup… he deserves it.

England puts all her hopes into one player. Just look at the online polls, most of them had england for a winner – until rooney’s injury. Now it seems nobody in Britain believes England will win when looking at frozen polls…
