Mark Hughes’ Poetic Take on the End of Sven

Blackburn manager Mark Hughes declares, with a grandeur you wouldn’t expect from somebody whose team is so vicious, that the position of England manager is a “poisoned chalice.”

I would have thought people associated with Blackburn might be more likely to quote David Mamet or Quentin Tarantino than Shakespeare, but “Macbeth” seems about right….
