1) Michael Owen declares that he will be 100% fit for Germany — and then stuck a reporter’s microphone in his eye, requiring treatment.

2) A bruised toe will keep Sol Campbell out of this week’s Champions League action between Arsenal and Juventus. Somebody please tell the doctors to look not at his feet but at the space between his ears….
