Pardon the interrobangs (that would be question-marks-with-exlaimation-points-attached), but Newcastle are saying that Michael Owen will be suited up and on the bench tomorrow for the match against the Baggies of West Brom.

The Magpies are, of course, short in the forward department with the injury to Alan Shearer, and they’re still in the hunt for a UEFA Cup spot, so there’s some logic to it.

But is he really healthy? Is he match fit? Will he actually play?

An intriguing side-note to an otherwise unattractive fixture.
