Never mind that he’s a mean old bastard and the game and life have changed immeasurably since 1966, Jack Charlton has quite a few thoughts about England’s defense.
For starters: “I’m not sure about Ferdinand…John Terry doesn’t want to play…Sol Campbell is past it…”
And then for good measure he goes after Our Captain: “David Beckham will have to play better for England than he did last night against Arsenal.”
