Is Rooney England’s Best Big-Time Player?

I think that’s right. Hard to believe–20 years old, around 30 caps already. Amazing. Assuming he’s fit (see: Euro 2004) and under control (see: many instances) he is the key to winning big matches this summer.

I agree. He’s got the big game talent but he’s also got (like Beckham in his early days) the big game over-exuberance!
