Reports all over the place indicate that Filipe Scolari has made a late charge to become the favorite candidate to be named the New Sven. (Here’s a representative bit from The Guardian.) Steve McClaren, who got knocked out of the FA Cup yesterday and was dissed by his captain, Gareth Southgate, in interviews, must be having a really happy Monday.
