Shawn, if England do go to penalties in the next couple of weeks, which five players do you think should tak them (all other things being equal)?

Hmmm….

In no particular order, and choosing without regard to whether they might be on the field at the end, I would want Gerrard, Beckham, Rooney, Joe Cole and, sigh, Lampard.

But I could imagine the wingers — Ashley, Neville, Carragher or Hargreaves — getting a shot as well.

And I bet Crouch would put the fear in some keepers just by staring at them.
