Gary Neville Tweaked Again

What game were you watching. Neville was incompetent in the first game. I think he is usually very solid for England but c`mon if someone has a bad game call it.

Second that. Neville was shite. As impressive as he was during Euro 2004, he was awful against Paraguay. He gave up the ball too much, looked tentative and out of sorts, and didn’t connect on his passes. Sorry Nevile is crocked for 10 days (can’t judge him by just the one match), but I like the idea of solid, in-form Carragher filling in.

I’d have Carragher over Neville any day. Neville’s past his best and Carragher is at the peak of his career, making him one of the best English defenders around at the moment. Ditch Neville and bring on Jamie.

And bring Walcott on against Trinidad, I could do with a laugh.
