Fergie: Smith Will Be Back! And Soon!

Never mind how horrible it was to see Alan Smith given oxygen and carried off the pitch last weekend.

According to Sir Alex Ferguson, “he should be back within six or seven months.”

After having cold water thrown in his face and being forced to drink strong black coffee, Sir Alex admitted that if Smith weren’t ready for the 2006-7 campaign then Man U could always count on George Best or Stanley Matthews.
