But with Darren Bent’s less-than-impressive showing in the friendly against Uruguay and Lil’ Mick’s ability to break a toe whilst tripping over a touch line on an empty pitch, the Manchester City striker — and 22-time England cap recipient — might well have to learn a little German for the summer.
