There’s one school of thought that says the ref marked Peter Crouch out of the Paraguay match.
There’s another that says he’s a gangly oaf good for only 20 minutes at this level.
Both are probably partly right.
And Crouchie is responding to the whole thing by promising to adapt his game.
While he’s rethinking things, he might consider mixing a goal into his performance. I’m just saying….
