Crouch: Freak or Phenom?

February 19th, 2006 | By: Shawn | 2 Comments »

So bravo, then, to Peter Crouch for his goal against Man U. in the FA Cup, giving Liverpool its first victory over the Other Reds in that competition since Charles Lindbergh was a schoolboy.

A few questions, though:

1) Is Crouchie truly going to Germany and will he factor in England’s run?

2) Did he get the cut on his head that’s shown in the picture in yesterday’s match?

3) If Alan Smith were a horse, would they have shot him on the pitch or behind the grandstands?

Crouch is hidden dragon for England. He’s England’s version of Germany’s Miroslav Klose or Togo’s Adebayor. If somebody can cross it to his head in the box a bunch, one header is bound to go in.

I’d rather have Adebayor or Klose in my squad before I had Crouch.

1. He’ll be there, but only to carry Wayne Rooney’s bags.

2. I believe the cut came from bumping his head on the tube. Mind the Gap.

3. Smith should have been shot years ago. Pity about his injury though. Well, maybe not. Guy is a c*nt
