Actually, I think they are both right… ENG, for all intensive purposes, has no striker at the mo.

But, contrary to previous years, I think your game is 1)no longer simply long balls fed to the strikers and 2)you have much more mid-distance range fire power than before.

I think both might be rite in some way. This is by far one of the best squads they have had since 66, but then again, england does rely to much on the skills of owen and ronney. and the putting all that preasure on walcott? Ive heard the english were crazy, but this goes way out of belief. They dont have strikers to choose from. they have good midfielders, defenders, but there is a lack of strikers in Britain. I actually dont know which one i would choose to be right. we will see at the world cup.

Well, France won the thing with Guivarch up front! Cruyff is right that we don’t have any depth up front, but we can work around that. We just have to hope that Owen stays fit… I guess you need a bit of luck to win anything!
