Having been handed the worst defeat in UEFA Cup finals history, Middlesbrough look to replace Steve McClaren for the future.

So the board have apparently drawn up a short list of…hold on…Martin O’Neill, Alan Curbishley and…Terry Venables?

I can’t say — and frankly don’t care — who should replace Macca in the bottom third of the Premiership table. But I can tell you that if everybody at FA headquarters should die tomorrow, these idiots in Middlesbrough could take their places and no one would be the wiser.
