Becks Doesn’t Care About the ‘Roos

Not the Socceroos: the kangaroos.

It had been reported (really?) that David Beckham had given up wearing a certain football boot because it was made of kangaroo leather and he was sent a video by an animal rights group that turned him against the practice of killing our bouncy friends for the sake of expensive shoes.

Not true, say his corporate masters at Adidas. He just found another style of shoes that was more attractive. He’s “very fashion conscious,” said a spokesmouth.

So those mink boots aren’t out of the question, then! Excellent!
