People I need some help! I am extremely confused over this suspension issue! From what the commentators have been saying in every game, yellow cards are wiped out after the group stage! Did i hear wrong? Because if I didn’t then why is Sven considering dropping Gerrard and Lampard because of bookings? Please tell me what you guys have interpreted on this issue!

Dan… if u have one card from the three group matches it will be wiped… if u have 2 cards u are suspended.

As for Ballack… funny how he makes potential failure (not winning group A) seem so unimportant… he’ll think it’s important when rooney is banging them in against lehmann, as he loves to do so much in Premiership matches

Dan –

If you accumulate two cards in the group stage and your team progresses, you must still serve the penalty for the cards in the next stage.

But if you only have one card at the end of the third group match, it is erased and you begin fresh.
